2 Timothy 2:15 – Be diligent to present yourself approved by God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, handling accurately the word of truth.

The two distinctive major collections in the Bible are the Old Covenant ( Old Testament ) which was reviewed in part one, and the New Covenant ( New Testament ) which will now be reviewed. In the New Testament you will find equal order with equally evident Divine design.

First we have Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts. These are the only historical books in the New Testament. They are foundational to everything which follows. These five historical books stand together.

Next is a group which just as plainly coheres as one subsidiary whole. It is that group of epistles which are all addressed to Christian Churches. They are Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians and 2 Thessalonians.  These nine letters are doctrinal.
