Daily Journal: Where does our Hope come from?

The Life of a 21st Century Prophet
Standard

How can we have hope in things we can’t see or haven’t experienced yet?

There are many people who are afraid of death and what happens after this life, but because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, those of us who follow Him don’t have to be afraid.

Through Jesus, God sends a definitive message that He is bigger than death. He also gave us his words – so that we could be encouraged and encourage others with these simple truths. Christ has died. Christ is risen. Christ will come again!

His word proves it …

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Thessalonians 4:14‭-‬17 KJV

Remember … this is the Gospel, the gospel of truth .

I pray that we meet in heaven.
