Don’t Go Through Life With A Question Sign
By: Denise N. Fyffe
We spend every second of our lives asking questions and jousting with doubt.
We ask who we are, what is our purpose. We question every aspect of our lives, even our Christianity and how we should act.
True Christianity is a dynamic relationship with a living God, and it cannot be reduced to formulas and dry orthodoxy.
Life in itself is a quagmire.
So, many of those questions, which you have will go unanswered. But, what matters is deciding and choosing a path.
Chose who you will be.
Choose how you will act.
Just make a choice. If you make a mistake, adjust. But don’t go through your entire life with a question sign.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:6-7
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. – James 1:5-6
And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him. – Hebrews 11:6 (ESV)
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. – 1 Peter 5:8 (ESV)
